In 2025, I took part as a speaker at Fabrics, MANGO’s technology event. It was the event’s second edition: a day for sharing ideas and learning about the work of other technology professionals.
Sharing and listening
In the post I wrote after the event, I highlighted both sides of the experience: sharing ideas and learning from others. Alongside speaking, I had the opportunity to hear different perspectives on how technology is changing the way we create and collaborate.
The programme brought together people from MANGO and the wider industry around topics including generative AI, platform engineering and data strategy. That is the context of the event; this post looks back at my participation without going into the internal content of the sessions.
A shared experience
Thank you to MANGO for the opportunity to take part, and to the speakers and attendees for the conversations. Thanks also to the colleagues I shared the day with: they were part of what made the experience special.
The cover photograph comes from the album I published after the event. I’m revisiting that moment here so this part of my work has a place on the blog too.
